The Philadelphia Union will look at CF Montreal on Saturday night to increase its winning streak in three matches.

Philadelphia (6-3–1, 19 points) has won two direct matches from 3–0 scorline. On Saturday, the team will discontinue the four -match duration in 12 days, including the USL Championship’s Indi XI on Wednesday, the US Open Cup round of 32 matches.

For the union head coach Bradley Carnel, however, this is a step at a time.

“(Is Montreal) to play in a hard journey, hard environment. And they are trending in the right direction. So for us, everyone’s eyes are on Montreal,” Carnel said. “And everyone must be … to deal with that game, the mentality and the right frame of the mind in the right way.”

Prior to a busy month, the Sangh promoted its lineup as midfielder Jesus Buono saw its first action in about a month, starting and playing 62 minutes against DC United in the last weekend.

“I think (Beeno) played well in the last game against DC,” Carnel said. “We are trying to bring him back in a smart way, a wise manner. And we got his 60 minutes roughly, which was good. For him it was largely to come back under his belt because he has not done so for a while.”

Meanwhile, CF Montreal (0-7-3, 3 points) is still the winner in MLS Play, but captured his Canadian Championship initial round match against Toronto FC on Wednesday. GiComo Vrioni scored his first goal for Montreal in the 88th minute, scoring his first goal 2–2, the club won the resulting penalty shootout to move forward.

Montreal interim head coach Marco Donadale said, “It is just about playing well and giving everything on the field. It’s about continuity and trying to do things that we are good.” “I really asked them to show their quality on the field, and they really did a great job.”

CF Montreal has a small change as they prepare to host the union, although with new-found speed.

“I know they are flexible and I know they don’t give up,” Donadale said. “They just did what they are capable of, and this is just the beginning of this process.”
