Mumbai Indians on Thursday overturned Ryan Ricelton’s dismissal due to a mistake made by Sunrisers Hyderabad wicket-keeper Heinrich Klassen during their IPL 2025 encounter. During the 7th over of MI’s innings, Ricelton was caught by Pat Cummins by Zishan Ansari’s bowling. However, he was assigned a huge lifeline as the third umpire saw that Klassen’s gloves were in front of the stump on bowling the ball. According to MCC Rules (27.3), the wicket -keeper will remain completely behind the wicket at the end of the wicket, until the ball comes to the ball given by the bowling bowler – the striker touches the bat or the person or passes the wicket at the end of the striker or the striker attempts a run. As a result, it was judged to be a no-ball.
A sportal Mumbai Indians continued their climb in the Indian Premier League with a four -wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in a one -sided competition on a tough wicket on Thursday.

Captain Hardik Pandya scored 21 runs off just nine balls to take MI to the threshold of victory. Tilak Verma (21 Not Out) then took MI in line after a late hiccup as it reached the house to 166 in 18.1 overs.
