The team announced on Monday, the Indiana Fever Superstar Ketleen Clarke will be sidelined with a left quadriseps strain for at least two weeks.
Clarke recorded its third double-dobbal of the season with 18 points and gave 10 assistance to New York Liberty at 90-88 in Indianapolis on Saturday.
The second year guard is an average of 19.0 points, 9.3 aid, 6.0 rebounds and 1.3 for fever (2-2) through four. Clarke is shooting 40.3 percent from the ground and 31.4 percent from the 3-point range.
The number 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, Clarke won the Ruki of the Year honor and created the All-Star and All-WNBA teams in 2024-25 after a record-setting career in Iowa.
This was not immediately clear when 23 -year -old Clarke maintained a quad injury.
After starting the first 44 games of her WNBA career, Clarke will recall her first game when Indiana will visit Washington Mistics on Wednesday. With a two -week -old time -line, she could remember four games before a possible return in Atlanta on 10 June.
