Cubs obtained LHP Drew Pomeranz from Meriners

The Chicago cubs acquired the left -handed player Drew Pomeranz from Seattle Meriners for cash ideas.
The cub said that the 36-year-old reliever, who had last picked the Major in 2021, would report to Triple-e-Iowa.
Pomeranz signed a minor league deal with Seattle on 27 March. He used to save two in 0–1 demonstrations at 0–1 with 4.66 ERA and nine in Triple-A Tacoma.
Cubs captain Craig Counsel was managing Milwauki in 2019 when Pomeranz posted 2.39 ERA in 25 matches for Brucers.
