With the defeat of 24-2, Oriols made places on rival citizens

Baltimore Oriols on Tuesday shook one of the worst losses in the history of franchise when the three-game beltway chain opened at Washington Nationals.

Baltimore was rooted 24–2 by Cincinnati Reds on Sunday, while the National ended a disappointing road trip with a doublehead divided into Colorado Rockies.

Oriols Starter Charlie Morton did not make it through the third innings on Sunday, giving seven runs in 2 1/3 frames. On August 22, 2007, Rangers gave 24 runs by Oriols since 30 scores.
