Report: League reviewed, no investigation of complaint against Hurricane Assistant

WNBA reviewed a complaint by Jewel Lloyd of Las Vegas Access that a Seattle Storm Assistant Coach cursed it during a game this season, but according to several reports on Wednesday, the league is not proceeding with a formal investigation.

Loyd is a former all-star star guard for the storm, who lost to a 75–70 tour on Sunday. Seattle hosted Las Vegas on 25 May and won 102–82.

According to the report, after the previous season, Lloyd alleged to threaten the Storm coach Nole Quin and his employees of the player’s performance. An independent investigator, who was employed by the storm, did not find evidence to support the complaint in December, Loyd requested a business.

The storm shifted her to Las Vegas on 1 February as part of a three-team trade. He took average of 19.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.6 assistance and 1.4 theft in the previous season.

He is stealing 10.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assistance and 1.2 in six games (all start) for the aces. For its career, LOYD steals average 16.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.2 assistance and 1.2 per game.

31-year-old Lloyd, six-time All-Star, 2015 Rukie of the Year and The Storm (2018, 2022) are twice the league champion. He was voted in All-WNBA in 2016, 2021 and 2023.
