Arthur Films withdrew from one prominent and could remember the other due to a tension fracture in the lower back.

Films with the 14th ranked French excluded their third round match against the 17th seed Russian Andry Rublav, which was scheduled on Saturday. The French, while explaining his argument, said that he wanted to keep himself in the best possible position to compete in Wimbledon.

“We decided with the team that it was better to stop now, because if I am stopping now, I can only stay for four to six weeks,” Fires said on Saturday. “If I was pushing myself too much, I would probably stop for a few months. … I had to make an option.”

Wimbledon has been slated to start from 30 June.

The 20 -year -old Films admitted that he felt that his current back issue deteriorated on Thursday during his five sets win on Spain’s Jom Munar. The match lasted for four hours and 25 minutes.

“I gave everything. I can’t go for more,” Films said. “At the end of the second set, I could feel that the back was not good at all.”

Fils said they do not think they need surgery.
