Star India Batter Virat Kohli on Wednesday resorted to social media to condemn the terrorist attack in Pahgam. At least 26 civilians, most of the tourists, were killed in the Pahgam terror attack on Tuesday, the Pulwama has been the most deadly attack in the valley since the Pulwama strike in 2019. The attack took place in Besaran, which is only accessible by foot or pony. Taking on Instagram, Kohli expressed condolences to the families of the victims and hoped that the criminals of the Act would be brought for justice.
Kohli wrote, “Innocent people are deeply saddened by the heinous attack in Pahalgam. Heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. Praying for peace and strength to all of them who lost their lives and justice for this cruel act,” Kohli wrote.

Apart from Kohli, many other cricketers including KL Rahul and Shubman Gill also expressed condolences to the families of the victims.
Gill posted, “Heartbreaking to hear about the attack in Pahalgam. My prayers are with the victims and their families. Such violence is not a place in our country,” Gill posted.
Rahul wrote, “Heartbreaking to hear about the terrorist attack in Kashmir. My thoughts are with the families of the victims. Praying for peace and power,” Rahul wrote.
Anil Kumble said: “Heartbreaking to hear about the tragic attack in Pahgam. Innocent life loses with immense violence. Praying for strength and peace for the affected families. Let’s stand together against hatred.”
Pathan Brothers – Yusuf and Irfan – also expressed deep pain.
Irfan wrote on his X account, “Every time an innocent life is lost, humanity is lost. I am heartbreaking to see and hear what happened in Kashmir today. I was just a few days ago – this pain seems very close,” Irrfan wrote on his X account.
“Pahgam, Jammu and Kashmir were deeply shocked and saddened by the horrific terrorist attack on innocent tourists. My heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. Praying for the fast recovery of the injured. Such acts of violence have no place in our society.
