Tampa Bay rays are expecting her most hitter hitter in the lineup on hosting Philadelphia Philis on Wednesday in the second competition of her three-game series.
Yandi Diaz felt that Philips in the series opener on Tuesday strown his right hip on a strange swing in the sixth innings of the 8-4 defeat. Diaz, who actually served as a nominated hitter of Tampa Bay, first placed in the game.
“I think she is fine,” Tampa Bay Manager Kevin Cash said about Diaz after the game. “Maybe avoid a little intimidation.”
The last 12 matches are two domestic runs and Diaz 16 -for -46 with nine RBI.
Their absence will be noticeable for rays, who have lost five of the seven and have been closed twice during that period.
“I hope he will be in the lineup (Wednesday),” Cash said.
Tampa Bay plans to send the right -handed Shane Baz on the mound on Wednesday.
BAZ (3–1, 3.86 Era) went 3–0 in April with 2.45 Era in April before suffering the first loss of the season. He was tagged for seven runs and nine hits in 5 2/3 innings of Kansus City Royals 8–2.
“I just said better quality pitches 0-0, 1-0, 0-1,” I said. “I have never gone to the bus and never took advantage of saving me. It is on me, it’s on me, I am ready to bear better pitches and make a better pitch. When I missed, I missed the middle part of the plate, or I could not do it.” ,
Baz has made a debut against Philips in his career and has not decided after scoring two runs in 5 1/3 innings.
Philadelphia performed some difficult performances in his lineup in the series opener on Tuesday.
Nick Castelanos scored four runs, doubled, doubled, adopted and Kyle Schwar also went deep and two were RBI. Alex Bohm worked between his two hits and added two RBI.
Bryas Harper went to 2 -for -5 with two runs after batting only .170 in his last 12 matches.
“Any of those people in that lineup found a track record of killing and harming them,” Cash said.
Left -arm Christopher Sanchez is going to start for Philips on Wednesday.
Sanchez (3–1, 3.45 ERA) has won three of its last four starts, recently allowed two runs and five hits in five innings of winning 7–2 against Washington National last Wednesday.
Sanchez left its previous beginning of the left front against New York Mets on 22 April.
Philadelphia manager Rob Thomson said after Sanchez’s most recent outing, “He was a bit rust.” “It’s been a week because he is pitching. The command was slightly closed, but the goods were really good.”
Sanchez was originally signed with rays as an international free agent on July 15, 2013, with a $ 65,000 signature bonus. On November 20, 2019, he was traded in the Philis in exchange for Curtis Mead.
Sanchez has two starts against rays in his career and is 0–0 with 0.75 ERA.
