“No friend …”: RCB’s Rs 11.5 crore ‘controversial’ comment on Virat Kohli

Royal Challengers Bangalore star Phil Salat claimed that he is not a friend with Virat Kohli before making a cheerful U-turn. The salt purchased for Rs 11.5 crore in the mega auction was asked by Mr. Nags about his dynamic with Virat in the team and he replied that he is just a partner. However, in an interview posted by RCB on his official social media handle, Salt said that he and Virat are friends. England International said that he plays cricket with everyone who is his friend.

Host: You said that there are no friends in the IPL in one of your interviews. So when you are playing with Virat, are you friends with him or you are not?

Salt: colleague.

When asked this question once again, Salt said to the host – “Everyone whom I have played cricket is my friend. I did not want to give you any additional ammunition in this interview right now”.

Earlier, Virat opened about his batting style and also explained what happened due to his widespread victory over Delhi’s capitals.

“It was a top win, especially looking at the surface. We watched some games here and played this wicket differently than those. Whenever there is a chase, I keep checking with the dugout, whether we are definitely,” he said.

“(What) Total (is) on board (is). What are the circumstances. Who are the bowlers who are due to the bowl. Who are the bowlers who are going to be difficult to get away,”

Kohli explained that when he is planning to chase.

“I try and make sure my solo and doubles are not closed so that the game is not stable. People are forgetting the importance of partnership and this tournament is coming out to try to dominate the bowlers through participation and professionalism in this tournament.” Krunal, who initially struggled to leave, finally hit his first fifty in the IPL in nine years.

Kohli said, “Crunal was outstanding, he could have an impact and it was just time. We have beautifully communicated, Krunal asked me to stay while taking his chance,” Kohli said.
