Cain’s Jasper Fast declares retirement from professional hockey

Eleven -year -old NHL veteran Jasper Fast today announced his retirement from the first professional hockey.
Fast, 33, played his last four seasons in Carolina and was a playoff hero for the storm in the 2023 spring. He faced a neck injury in the final regular season game of the 2023-24 season vs. Columbus Blue Jacket and did not compete in Carolina’s recent intercourse campaign.
Fast was one of the several major experienced players who did not wear clothes for any sport during the season due to injury. Tori Kruga (St. Louis), TJ Oshi (Washington) and Tucker Poolman (Colorado) were also on a long-run reserve in 2024-25.
Fast spent his first seven seasons at NHL with New York Rangers and earned his alternative Captain Sweater from 2017-20.
“I never took the privilege of playing in the best league in the world,” Fast said. “I am grateful for Rangers and all the companions of the storm, coaches, staff and fans who made my time so special in NHL, and for my family they did everything to get me to achieve and help me live their dreams.”
Naszo, a native of Sweden, was the sixth round of draft pickle by Rangers in 2010 (157th total), but crossed a spacious majority of more famous members of that draft class, currently finished 24th with 94 goals and 248 points in 703 career games.
Fast started with Rangers in October of 2013-14 season, but did not record his first point until the Eastern Conference Quarterfinal vs. Philadelphia did not assist.
He scored 55 goals and came to the clutch in the playoffs, scoring three goals for Rangers from 2013-20 and three goals in the after 2014-15 and 2016-17.
Fast 2015-2020 was a five-time recipient of the Rangers Players Players Award.
He signed with a storm as a free agent before the 2020-21 season. Fast played in all 82 matches in that season and produced a career height in goals (14), points (34) and plus/minus (+24). Cain players taunted him as the winner of the Steve Chiasson Award for that season. The award of the award “The player who gives an example of determination and dedication by proving an inspiration to his peers through his performance and approach to sports.”
In the performance of his final playoffs in 2023, Fast became just fourth player in the Carolina franchise history to produce several overtime winners in the same postsen. She scored in overtime at Carolina’s first round series vs. The New York Islanders and found a net again in the series-clinning game 5 of can win the second round of Cans on New Jersey Devils.
