Carolina Panthers agreed on Sunday night for the conditions with former Las Vegas Reders broad receiver Hunter Renfro, a South Carolina native.
29 -year -old Renfro was out of NFL after its release by Reders on March 13, 2024.
He made a Pro Bowl in 2021 with 1,038 yards and 103 receptions for nine touchdowns, but played a low role with a combined 61 catches for 585 yards in the next two sessions and two scores in 27 matches.
Renfro has 269 catches for 2,884 yards and 17 TDs (23 Starts) in 73 Games since Reders excluded him from Clay in the fifth round in 2019, where he helped Tigers win the national championship in 2016 and 2018 seasons.
The depth of the panthers in the wide receiver includes veteran Adam Thielen, Jalan Koker, the first round of 2024 Pick Xavier Leagate and Thursday’s drafts number 8 overall pick, Tetiro McMillan.
