Major League Soccer’s leading scorer Sam Sariz scored Nashville SC twice to help SC win 3–2 over the New England Revolution on Wednesday in Mass.

Sarij now crossed the league with 14 goals crossing Philadelphia’s Tai Bribo’s 13, while leading Nashville (10–4-5, 35 points) to increase his second direct victory and extended his unbeaten streak to 10 games. Nashville, who recorded 15 shots attempts for New England’s nine and extinguished six for New England’s four, has not lost since April 19. Daniel Lavitz scored a goal in the 51st minute.

New England (6-6-5, 23 points) dropped their second direct game after a 10-day stretch without a game. Tomas Chenkele scored and assisted for the revolution, who first tied Nashville to the season opener 0–0.

Nashville tied the game 1–1 just before Haftime, Revs took the lead in the 49th minute, as Brian Sebalos scored his first goal of the season on a header assisted by Chankele.

Exactly two minutes later, Lavitz responded to knot the score on two apps with a nearby header of Hani Mukhtar. Sarij approached with the ball near the bullet, credited with a goal in some controversy (it would have given a hat trick for 15 and evening), but somehow, Nashville was tied again.

Nashville again gained his first lead on the second “official” goal of the night’s Sarij, this time Mamdou came to the penalty kick after Fofana’s dishonesty.
