Scotty Chefler: ‘Really Cool’ McLero to see the full career slam

Scotty Sheffer on Sunday gave a realistic opportunity to come from behind and win another masters. Once he was out of the picture, he had no issue of playing a supporting role in Rory McLaroy’s big day.
As last year’s champion at Augusta National, Sheffer honored the help of McClayers in a long -awaited green jacket in Butler cabin.
Sheffler told reporters before Hilton Head Island, SC before this week’s RBC Heritage, “At that moment, as it was an emotional day for him, I just tried to stay out of the way and originally received the jacket without embarrassing him or myself.”
The Sheffer described McLero as a “good friend”, and the pair have combined to rule the PGA tour in recent years. Chefler remains the number 1 player in the official world golf rankings, a leaf that was once from McLero, who won four big companies between 2011 and 2014 before the drought of about 11 years.
So both generally have approaches that some other people may be related.
“It was really good for me that I should be able to see it because I have – I don’t understand what to be asked about the career Grand Slam, but I have a little understanding of what it is to be asked, ‘Hey, you, you have not completed it, but you haven’t completed it,” Skafler said. βIt can sometimes tax people a lot.
“It was good for Rory to be able to work. Certainly it seemed like much more relief than anything from outside. Rori has completed everything in the golf game, and this was really the last thing to complete for him. The man won the Fedex Cup, all four Majors.
In the final round of Sheffler, 69 brought him below 5 to 8 to 8 for the week to finish fourth. He said how he and caddy Ted Scott felt that they were in the mixture till the 18th hole, struggling behind him with McLero and the British Justin proceeded only two shots.
“I am sitting there on the 18 Fairway last week, and Rosie was under 10. I am thinking with myself,” I am going on this pin. I am going to try to pierce it, “the chefler said. “And then he makes (on Burdy 18), and like you are, ‘Okay, over the tournament. I lost.” Could not win, whatever it is, whatever it is. ,
“I was looking at Teddy, and I am liked,” All right, teddy, I think I’m going in the middle of the green now. ” He likes, ‘Yes, target in the middle of the green.
The 28 -year -old Sheffer gave his general reply when asked if McLaroy’s victory was inspiring for him.
“Was it great that Rory wins the Grand Slam? Of course it was,” he said. “But as far as my life goes, I try to live in the present. So I am focusing on this week, and when I go home next week, I am going to prepare for my next tournament.
“At the end of the day, my inspiration is all internal. Is it really good to complete it?
The current list of achievement includes 2024 seasons with winning in four other signature programs including Masters, The Players Championships, Tour Championships and RBC Heritage.
Tired of his masters winning, and on any day with his first child, Sheffoler came to South Carolina and shot 19 under 19 rounds-by three strokes on Sahith Thegla to win a shower-tournament from 63 of a second round.
Now, however, Scheffler wins for more than three months in the season in 2025.
“Last year, I was very tired since last week, and I did a good job of managing myself and how I found around the golf course,” said Sheffer. “Surely it will be reflected on how I played the ball last year in terms of getting ready for this week’s incident and hit here.”
