The two veteran starters who started this season are set to take the mound on Saturday night when the Canasus City Royals hosted Houston Astro for the second game in their weekend series.
Houston Left-Hander Frame Waldez (1-2, 4.50 ERA) will demand his first win since the opening day, when he threw seven shutouts in a 3–1 decision on New York Met’s. Since then, he has allowed 14 earned runs in 21 innings in four demonstrations.
The Census City Right-Hand Michael Covenant (0-3, 4.15) has so far dropped it from the sixth innings in its five beginnings. They will get a ball for Royals, who will try to increase the streak of their victory in six matches and reach 500 for the first time in about two weeks.

The three hits Astros closed was the lowest in a game, as Los Angeles Angels held him for three in a 4–1 defeat on 12 April. However, Houston Manager Joe Esspada told MLB.com that Bhagya played a factor in Friday’s loss.
“We barely hit some balls, but they were more lucky than us,” Espada said. “This is how baseball works. … I like our et-bats. We have grinded against someone who had really good stuff.”
