Reds 1B Christian Encarnasian-Strand (Back) on 10-Day IL

Cincinnati Reds on Thursday placed the first Basman Christian Encarnasian-Stand due to low back swelling in the 10-day injured list.
In the same move, Reds recalled the third baseless Noelvi Mart from Triple-e Louisville.
The 25-year-old Encarnasian-Strand is batting.
The Enkarnasian-Strand, who played only 29 games in the previous season, missed two games on Saturday and Sunday, due to a fragmented right hand. He played on Tuesday, was going for 0-for-4 in the 8–4 domestic win over Seattle, and on Wednesday, Meriners went to 1-for-4 with two runs in a 5–3 defeat.
Reds manager Terry Frankona said, “We are talking to them all week and trying to manage it.” “We reached a point where we said that we were going to be again after the game last night. It was not deteriorating, but it was not getting better. The more we talked to the trainers … and whatever happened through the previous year, it seems just like the right thing.”
Encarnacion-Strand is a career. 17 domestic runs with 230 hitters and 58 RBI in 107 games since the onset of MLB with Reds in July 2023.
The 23 -year -old Marte has gone to 1 -for -6 in three matches this season. He has played 104 career games since 2023 and batted with seven homes and 33 RBI .244.
Reds can play Jamer Candelario on the first basis and hope that Spencer Stere will soon return to the ground. The stear, who faced a right shoulder injury last year, is limited to being a nominee. He practiced in Infield on Thursday morning.
Frankona said, “Steer is the greatest. I don’t think it is going to be too long.”
Utility player Santiago Aspinal, 30, while 478 Major League does not play the first basis, it is also practicing the situation.
