Red Sox P Lucas Giolito looks to put pieces together in debut

Lucas Giolito will finally start his season in a bid to help Boston Red Socks in his three-game series against hosts Toronto Blue Jais on Wednesday night.
Red Sax signed a 30 -year -old right -handed player before the 2024 season to increase his rotation.
In his first spring training with Boston, however, Giolito developed a elbow injury, requiring surgery that ended his weather.
During spring training this year, Giolito faced a hamstring injury, and he opened the season in the injured list. After completing the rehabilitation assignment, he is considered ready to pitch on Wednesday.
“It seemed that a piece of itself was missing for some time last year, looking at our games; this year, looking at our games, he said on Tuesday that Red Sox defeated Blue Jais 10–2 in the series opener.
“I signed with this team for a reason. I wanted to show the best way to show how I have to take the ball and is available to throw 100-plus pitches in every beginning.”
The introduction of Giolito will be closely monitored, with a plan to use red sox patience.
Boston’s manager Alex Kora said, “To be honest with you, we don’t know what is going to happen (Wednesday).” “The calm thing is that he is going into a big area if everything goes well. And we will work with him so that he can help succeed.”
Giolito is 2-3 with 5.40 ERAs in eight careers against Toronto.
Blue Jais did not name an early pitcher for Wednesday, but it is expected to remove the parade of the relievers. Boden Francis did not help the Bulpen’s position after allowing seven runs to score – which included five homer – and on Tuesday only had only three innings.
Red Sox will try to avenge three out of four matches at Blue Jais’s house from April 7-10.
The fate of the teams has recently changed. Boston has won three consecutive games and Toronto lost eight out of nine.
Wilir Abreyu on Tuesday hit a three -run homer for Red Sox and Jaren Duran, Alex Breamman, Christian Campbell and Rafael Davors added solo shots.
Vladimir Gurero Junior hit a two -run homer for Toronto. Blue Jais has only 16 home runs in this season, the second lowest in Major. He has allowed the most homeers (42) L.
The lack of scoring remained a problem for Blue Jas, which had only four hits on Tuesday.
“I think everyone wants to be what stops it, you know what I mean?” Toronto’s manager John Schneider said. “You have to continue to pull for each other. The work is good. Prep is good.
Toronto received a great comeback from shoulder surgery by Center Fielder Dolton Varsho on Tuesday. He celebrated his season’s start with amazing catch in the fourth innings on Duran’s fly to the warning track. Varsho got stuck, rolled, and reached up to make a back-hand catch.
“I just took out my gloves and somehow went inside,” Varsho said.
Toronto’s right -arm KC Lawrence recently claimed exemption from Seattle Meriners, allowing three runs in 2/3 innings on Tuesday. Toronto selected the right-handed Pasteon Shults and Infielder Will Wagner for Triple-e Buffello.
