Ravi Shastri urged BCCI selectors to consider IPL star for England tests

Former head coach Ravi Shastri saw the young Sai Reformson an all-format batsman who deserves India’s favor for the Test series against England later this year. India will start the New World Test Championship Bicycle (2025-2027), with all the squad selection in England with a five-observer chain, which will be seen at home after 1–3 defeat against Australia in their 0–3 defeat to New Zealand and border-gavaskar tests to New Zealand at home. Shastri says that Sudha, currently this season so far this season, has a nice-handed left hand, with 456 runs for Gujarat Titans, in second place in the list of the highest IPL run-songs so far, which will perform well in English conditions, looking at his technique and their county stent.

India will start its England series with the Hadingley Test starting on 20 June.

Shastri told the ICC Review, “I see this young man, Sai Reformson for all the formats of the game.”

Shastri said, “She looks like a class player and my eyes will definitely be on her. Being a left -handed situation in England, knowing the position of English, and just her technique, the way she plays, I think she will be at the top of the list for me, which wants to go in this side,” Shastri said.

Shastri said that Shreyas Iyer, who has a tremendous run in India as well as the IPL, is another player, another player who can be selected for the tour of England, but will have to face strict competition.

Shastri said, “He (Shreyas Iyer) (can return), but it is going to be a competition again. White-ball, fixed. Test cricket, we have seen who other players are,” Shastri said.

With Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami returning after a prolonged trim, Shastri said that India’s bowling attack should also have a left -hand seamor.

“I will be in search of a left-Bermer. I will take a look at which the left-armor is good, and try and squeeze it as the sixth (bowling) option,” said the captain of the former India.

“It can be anyone. It can also be a white ball expert. I do not like this when they say that there is a ‘white-ball specialist’ like Arshdeep Singh.” Shastri said that Arshdeep, who has been a permanent member of the Bharat T20I side, has the qualities to excel in red-ball cricket.

“I will also keep a close watch on his red ball record and the number of overs bowling him.

He said, “You need a Left-Bermer, go and find it, whatever is and anyone who is the best-pick them up. Pti ddv am ddv am am am
