Galaxy host earthquakes are hoping to ride home-field benefits for the first win

Still in search of his first win of the season, Los Angeles Galaxy on Wednesday expected a concrete effort in his final outing during the hosting San Jose earthquake.
The Galaxy (0–11-4, 4 points) remains 15 game winners in the 2025 MLS season and San Diego FC is coming 2–1 on Saturday. Los Angeles scored the first score in the match, mixing the equalizer in the 40th minute before accepting. San Diego scored a Go-forward goal in the fifth minute of stops time in the second half.
“I think the frustration finally hit again,” said Galaxy coach Greg Vanni. “People have become flexible. … We know that we have the first (consecutive) home games in the season. We have got to bounce back. We have returned our partner here that at the end of the game, a couple’s tough decisions and a couple started playing. We have tried to return them and defend our home.”
Los Angeles has so far scored 13 goals, with the 34-match campaign in the last season, after finishing third in the last season, the team has been kept at a speed of about 30 during the 34-match campaign. This is particularly a conflict at the other end of the pitch, as it scored 35 goals-less than 15 from the total of the back season.
“I think it takes a little toll over you,” midfielder Diego Fagundez said about the team’s struggles. “It’s difficult. One thing, we still fight. We still fight. And it’s something we can be proud of. But at the same time, fighting at the end of the day and all this, we want numerals. We want to win the game. That is what matters in this league.”
Meanwhile, earthquakes enter their last five (2–0-3) in the mid-whee match after playing in the third straight on Saturday, playing 3-3 to 3–3 against Houston Dynamo.
San Jose (5-6-4, 19 digits) wiped out three straight 2–0 deficiency, in which Preston Jude scored his first two goals of the season to kick the rally.
This will be the first of the four straight road matches for earthquakes, which is 2-3–1 as a visitor. Two wins have come on opposing pitches in each of the last two matches.
San Jose’s coach Bruce Arena said, “The team has done well in the last two or three weeks.” “We have two difficult games next week-to go to LA against a team that does not win a game in 15 games. They are going to be very well prepared to try to get their first one in the year. It will be very challenging, as the game will be in St. Louis. We have to move it forward.”
