Astrose shut down Reds as fans of Hunter Brown

Hunter Brown made his fourth scoreless start of the season and Host Houston Astro on Friday won 3–0 over Cincinnati Reds in a three-game interlayer series opener.

Astros snatched the nine-game losing streak to Reds behind another strong start from Brown (6–1), which ended a shy to record its eighth quality in many performances this season.

Although he released a season-high four walk in 5 2/3 innings, Brown surrendered only two hits and recorded a season-hai-taeing nine strikes for fourth consecutive outings.

Brown faced a batsman with several runners on the base only twice.

He recorded a third strike on Eli de la cruise to close the top of the third innings with the Santiago Aspinal and Matt McClen, both ran on the second and first basis, both respectively.

With the aspinal and TJ Freedal at the base in the fifth, Brown inspired McLayen to fly to the center to remove the danger. Brown did not survive the sixth when he issued a two-out walk with emptying Gavin Lux.

Brown threw a season-high 101 pitches, including 59 for strikes, and bent over the four-seem fastball touching 99 mph. They threw four additional pitches – ciners, slider, changeup and nuck curve – to keep the reds away from the balance.

Reds Right-Hand Nick Martinez (1-4) proved to be relatively elusive in his six innings. He allowed season-hai 10 hits, but did not release a walk. Martinez made five strikeouts and made Astro’s claw for three runs, while he picked the pitch.

Martinez benefited before Astro’s faulty Basoring when Jeremy Pena and Jose Altuve were wiped out after recording a single.

Christian Walker hit a leadoff double in the second innings and Zach Dezenzo produced two-out single to supply Astro with a 1-0 lead.

In the fifth, Brendon Roders doubled to open the frame, and Mauricio Duban moved him to third place. Penna chased with an RBI groundout, before Isaac Parades drove home dubone with a double down with the first base line.

Ultuve, Walker and Yoner Diaz produced two-hat games for Astro, who won their second game. Josh Hader hit three in the ninth Save to finish three to finish ninth.

Reds fell for the sixth time in seven matches.
