Vaibhav Suryavanshi T20 receives a permanent ovation at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium after becoming the youngest player to score a hundred.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest player to score a hundred in the T20 format. The 14-year-old was magical with the bat during the IPL 2025 match between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals. After his dismissal, the entire crowd — including the opposing team’s camp — gave him a standing ovation for his exceptional batting display.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the emerging star of IPL

The youngest player in IPL history has shown why he is the talk of the town. He scored the youngest fifty and hundred in the T20 format. He received a standing ovation from his mentor, Rahul Dravid. Even the opponent team, Gujarat Titans (GT), stood up in respect after his innings.

He scored his first IPL century in 35 balls, the fastest by an Indian player. He made 101 off 37 balls.

Who is Vaibhav Suryavanshi?

Suryavanshi was born on 27th March 2011, is an Indian cricketer who competes for Bihar in domestic cricket and plays for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. A left-handed batsman, he made his first-class debut in January 2024. He holds the record for being the youngest Indian to make a List A debut and the youngest to play in the Indian Premier League.
