Ben Griffin fires 65, sets the initial speed in the memorial

After winning a tournament on Sunday, Ben Griffin was warm on Thursday by shooting a 7-inner-end 65 to take the first round lead in Ohio’s Memorial Tournament in Dublin.

Griffin’s card included an eagle at the Muirfield Village Golf Club in 16–18 in Nos. He finished the day’s time with two-shot advantage at Kolin Moricawa, which was two-time runners-ups in the tournament organized by Jack Nicons.

29 -year -old Griffin won his first PGA Tour title last month at the Zurich Classic of the New Orleans Team event with Andrew Novak. He recognized that the victory with his first individual victory last week was at Charles Schwab Challenge at the colonial country club.

The third place was with Max Homa 4-under 68. Homa has performed better since Caddy who took part with Green, which now works for Moricawa. Homa has been looking for his first win on a tour since January 2023.
