Partha Jindal apologizes after failing to qualify for the playoffs for the capitals of Delhi: “Very poor …”

Delhi Capital (DC) co-owner Partha Jindal on Wednesday expressed disappointment after the franchise crashed the franchise from the IPL 2025 playoff race following the loss to Mumbai Indians (MI). Taking X, Jindal admitted that the DC failed to capitalize on a strong start for the season, saying that the team would now have to return strongly in the next season. For Anward, DC won its first four games of the season and topped the table. However, a midseason recession recalled him when the top four finished.

He needed to defeat both MI and Punjab Kings in his last two matches, thereby expecting it to make it in the playoffs.

“Sorry for all @delhicapitals fans – as you are also starting again from the second part of the season. What started is very well ended. There are positivity to take from this campaign, but now everyone has been focused on the next game, which we need to win, which we need to win. The season will need a lot of self -sufficiency.”

MI captured the fourth and final playoff spots, in which Gujarat Titans, PBK and Royal Challengers joined the choice of Bangalore (RCB).

Rewriting the match, Suryakumar Yadav hit 43 balls 73, while Ryan Ricelton (25), Will Jack (21), Tilak Verma (27) and Naman Dhir (not 24) pasted useful contribution because MI posted 180 for five.

In response, DC fell at 121 in 18.2 overs, with Sameer Rizvi’s 35-gend 39 top-scoring.

Mumbai captain Hardik Pandya said, “I can throw them (Santner and Bumrah) the ball whenever I want.” “They bring such control and perfection, which makes my work easier.”

Delhi’s Stand-in captain FAF Do Plessis said, “We let it slip in the last two overs.”

“There is a real thing in motion cricket. The way he fought to get around 50 in the last two overs, undo the first 17–18 overs work. We lost that speed.”
