Nashville won 7-2 over Chicago

Sam Sarij scored four goals and Nashville on Saturday scored a franchise mark for the biggest difference of victory, defeating Chicago Fire 7-2

Hani Mukhtar pairing two goals and a support pair for Nashville, while Jason Palasios also scored.

Nashville (5–4–1, 16 points) called Chicago defender Jack Elliot for dishonesty on Jacob Shaffelberg in the 14th minute, resulting in penalty kicks. To give Nashville a 1-0 initial lead, Sarij took the ball down in the middle of the goal.

Nashville doubled its lead in the 22nd minute, when defender Palasios climbed the right end of Mukhtar’s out-swinging cross and sent a powerful header to the goal. Header surprised Chicago goalkeeper Chris Braddy, leading to Colombians his first target with Nashville.

Following the goal of Palacios, anarchy broke the loose minutes. Sheffelberg brought the ball up to the field from a retaliation and launched a cross towards Alex Muil. His diving header then found Mukhtar open on the back post, and Mukhtar tapped Nashville in an open shot to score three goals.

Nashville scored his fourth goal within the first 31 minutes of the game, throwing the defense of Chicago in chaos. Mukhtar began an impressive passing sequence when he completed a give-end-go with Andy Nazar (three aids).

Nazar found Mukhtar open in the middle of the box, who clinically killed his shot in the left corner.

Chicago (3-4–3, 12 digits) imposed another fine just before the Hafatime when Omri Glasgow and Sirij collided for a cross. After a brief VAR check, the referee retained the punishment. Brady dives in the right direction, but the fine of the Sirij survived the hands of the outside of Brady and the stoppage bounced the line for a 5–0 lead in the ninth minute of time.

A few minutes after the restart, Nazar bounced a long ball towards a magnificent body, which 6–0 in the 50th minute defeated his shot in a leg race before giving strength to his shot in the down-right corner.
