Dansbi Swansan has changed the corner after the season-opening recession.
The Chicago cub Shortstop distributed in a plate with a batting line of .373/.450/.706 in May. 51 at-Bats, 10 RBI, five domestic runs and 13 runs in 13 runs have been placed in 96 et-bats in 24 matches in April.
He and his team will look for the growth when the cubs go for a three-game sweep against the Chicago White Sox at the conclusion of the rivalry series on Sunday afternoon.
Swansan, who went to 2-for-3 with three runs and two stolen bases in the 7–3 win of the cub on Saturday, has hit only three of his team’s 15 matches this month, but he has reached the base of each outing.
“Dansbi had a great aggressive game today,” said the manager of the cubs Craig Counsel on Saturday. “His et-bats were extraordinary. … I felt that he had really, really good game, one of his better sports, even though he probably had some more frightening numbers.
Last month, he had a batting line of .188/.233/.333, with 18 hits, 11 RBI and three Homer and half became hit in sports. Only in those two hitless games, he worked for a walk to go on the base.
When he could not go on the plate, Swanson was defensively strong. Now that he has come into an aggressive drain, the cubs are benefiting from both sides.
Swansan said, “It is important to be well round because not every day, especially here (in the Wrigley Field), can you hit the balls out of the ballpark,” Swansan said. “Every day you are not going to feel good or confident, where you are in a swing -wise or batter box. So it is important to find different ways to help the team win.”
Pitcher Colin Ri (3–0, 2.48 ERA) will take the mound to the cub to face white sox only for the second time in his career. The right-handed batsman in his previous presence allowed one run on two hits in two innings, 10–1 defeat on August 21, 2020.
The white sox head in the finale is looking to snap the three-game losing streak. The South Side Squad won each of their previous two series before Saturday’s loss.
