Jaypee Cires, athletics holds light-heat rangers

In the fifth innings, Tyler Sodesterrom had two runs double, all visiting athletics, which Annemic Texas Rangers needed to defeat 2–1 in the four-market opener of Texas on Monday.
Jetty Sears (4-2) and Relievers of three A committed the Texas crime in Bay. The Rangers have dropped three straight and three directly games for athletics including the last two of the three-market chain last week.
Texas has scored a total of 12 runs in the last six matches, lost five of them, and they are final in Major in Run (87).
A won his fifth win in six matches.
Sears played 5 2/3 innings of one run ball, allowing five hits and any walk, while out of seven. Mason Miller earned his ninth savings around a leadoff walk in the ninth innings.
Texas Starter Patrick Corbin (2–1) conceded two runs on seven hits. He swept five and one went away.
Athletics eventually broke into the fifth when Soderstrom’s two-out Blup Double to Right Field Gio Urshela and Brent Rooker, which were doubled and left. Soderstrom’s hit chased Corbin.
Texas cut its deficit in half in the sixth. Kyle Higasioka doubled with one and scored two-outs of Jona Hem on the single to center field. Mich Spens then replaced Sears and allowed a single to Marcus Semian and allowed Josh Jong to walk to load the base. Adolis Garcia came out to end the innings.
Rangers were retired by Spens in the seventh and by Tyler Ferguson in the eighth.
Miller entered the ninth and went to Semian before caressing a groundout from Jung, which sent the runner to second place. Garcia hit, and Pinch Hitter Dustin Harris finished the game and dropped it out on a second basis.
Hem rangers ended with two out of six hits, while Miguel Enduzar collected two of the eight hits of athletics.
