Royal Challengers Bangalore wicketkeeper-Baateter Jitesh Sharma credited patrons and batting coach Dinesh Karthik to encourage his natural potential in the IPL 2025 season. Jitesh was acquired by RCB for Rs 11 crore in last year’s auction after its valor with Punjab Kings in the last three sessions. His joint season is a boost for the depth of RCB’s batting as the batter has so far distributed with a cameo knock in the death over. While reflecting the impact of Karthik on his mindset, Jitesh accepted the contribution of former wicketkeeper of India as his batting.
“DK has taken me out of my comfort field and I am not in a new place before. I always had some shots in my arsenal, but I had no faith in them. I never worked on them because the previous coaches would say,” Go straight, play like this, play like this, play like this. ” It is true that it is my strength to hit sixes in ‘V’, but I always wanted to learn more.
Jitesh further stated that Karthik’s presence makes him feel settled in the franchise because experienced matches his wavelength.

Talking about the leadership of Rajat Patidar, Jitesh feels that he has a big challenge for him to win his first win at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium after losing all three matches so far.

On a successful T20 captain, Jeetesh said, “I think it is about believing in your tendency. The game moves so fast that you get difficult to think. Whatever decision comes to your mind, you need to return it. Your inner voice knows, and believing in it is the most important thing.”
RCB will see the zinc zinc on Thursday hosting Rajasthan Royals in Bengaluru.
