“He always wanted to score runs in Bengaluru”: Dinesh Karthik on Devdutt Padikal

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) mentor and batting coach Dinesh Karthik praised RCB Batter Devdutt Padikkal’s commitment to make a difference for the team. In a video posted by RCB on X, he talked about Padik’s desire to perform well in front of a Bangalore crowd, missing the opportunity to do so during his last two sessions with RCB. “Dev has changed this season. This is beauty. She came by saying, DK, I want to make a difference in this team. I always wanted to do well in the home ground. Two years he played for RCB, sadly, sadly, he could not play in Bengaluru.
Karthik praised Padikal’s hard work and commitment, threw light on his confidence on the advice of himself and the coach.
