Eastern Carolina expands Michael Schartz through 2027-28

Michael Schwartz, the head coach of the East Carolina, agreed to the one-year contract expansion through the 2027–28 season.
The deal was approved by the trusted board of the university on Friday and was announced by the school on Saturday morning.

48-year-old Schwartz, with pirates, owns a 50–49 mark in three sessions. He was hired as the 24th head coach in the history of the program on 16 March, 2022.

We know hard work and dedication to win high levels, and we have an employee and a group of young men committed to our vision. We are continue to add pieces to our roster for the upcoming season and we are very much in our program which are very much in our culture, which are too much for our culture.”
