After the ‘Yeh Mera Maidan’ Act in Bengaluru, KL Rahul does so in Lucknow




Delhi Capital (DC) Batter KL Rahul became the fastest player to reach 5,000 runs in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He achieved a milestone during DC’s eight -wicket win over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Tuesday. Rahul reached the elusive milestone in 130 innings and defeated David Warner (135), Virat Kohli (157), AB de Villiers (161) and Shikhar Dhawan (168). Facing his former team that he captained the IPL 2024 before he was released by the franchise after a franchise encounter with the owner of the franchise, Rahul scored a slow and stable unbeaten 57 runs in 44 delivery to cross the line and claimed a big win.

After killing the winner Seema, Rahul participated in a cold festival with LSG owner Sanjeev Goenka. Talking about Rahul’s celebration, he was seen pointing to the name and number behind his back.

He navigated a difficult period against Aden Markram, Digwesh Rathi and Ravi Bishnoi’s spin attack before the wicket-keeper batsman later flowed for a brilliant six on the deep mid-wicket. He followed it with one and six Markram in the next over.

Rahul took his way in a half century in 40 delivery, with three fours and sixes in an innings, along with Axer Patel, took a fight with the Lucknow bowlers, which broke them around the park. He then claimed the night with a six to seal the game at night, Prince Yadav.

Rahul has been in tremendous form this season, recently the fastest Indian to reach 200 IPL sixes milestones and West Indies Big-Hitter Chris Gayle and Andre Russell are the third fastest to reach the milestone back to the milestone, who played 69 and 97 innings respectively to reach the milestone.

Rahul has been a person for Delhi this season and is definitely on the occasion. His strike rate of 155.67 in this season is the second largest in his 12 -season tenure in the league.

The 33 -year -old has scored 359 runs in eight innings and is anchor to the side. His best outing came against the Royal Challengers Bangalore when his unbeaten 93 -run contribution inspired his side to win six wickets. He missed the first match for Delhi’s capitals to participate in the birth of his first child.
