Ketleen Clarke, Angel Reese rivalry game attracts big ratings

The Saturday game between Cataline Clarke-led Indiana fever and Chicago Sky attracted an average of 2.7 million spectators on ABC, making it the most viewed WNBA regular-sector competition in 25 years according to the Sports Media Watch.

The game, which reached the 3.1 million audience, attracted the second largest average audience of the league for any event-Save for the Western-year WNBA all-star game (3.44 million).

This Memorial Day was the largest regular season of the audience since 2000.

Fever emphasized 93–58 to rival Akash, in which Clarke recorded triple-dabble and raised his first major dishonesty as a supporter. Clarke fouled Angel Reese to prevent a clear pruning, and the reese was instigated and shouted for several moments after the whistle. Clarke’s dishonesty was upgraded after reviewing a flagant -1, and Reese received two free throw.

The WNBA is investigating the allegations of hateful comments or noise towards the players during the incident. A video shared on social media features a male fan-a red replica sitting and making high-level noise with shorts wearing a red replica, while the Reese shot a free throw with 4:38 in the third quarter.

On Sunday, the WNBA issued a statement stating that it was “aware of the allegations” and was looking into the matter.
