Punjab Kings (PBK) bowling James Hopes supported India’s upcoming Test tour’s selection of Pacer Arshdeep Singh for England, saying he would be fully favorable for the terms. India’s squad is likely to be announced in the coming days before the five -match Test series against England. Arshadeep’s form has been important in the IPL playoffs in PBKS street as he has taken 16 wickets in 12 matches so far in the league stage. During a recent conversation, Hops spoke highly to Arshdeep and said that left -handed pace is always eager to respect his skills.

Hops said, “He is perfectly favorable for English conditions. He can swing the ball in both ways, he can bowl reverse swing when necessary. He can bowl as a left -arm seater around the wicket and still take it away from the right -handed batsman.”

“Arshdeep is highly skilled and very coaching. He is just open to try subtle, new things. And just trying to change the subtle things, because he is now around some time and people know what he is going to do. “

It is expected that when Arshdeep completed his career, the fraternity will remember him as one of the most prominent bowlers of his era.

He said, “The way he is swinging the ball this year is a bit different, which has surprised some players. He is still young. He is so young. When we reach the end of his career, we will talk about him as one of the most prominent bowlers so far.”

BCCI is set to announce the senior male squad for the upcoming five -match Test series against England starting on 20 June. This World Test Championship will start India’s campaign in the 2025-27 cycle.

It will also be the first Test assignment from the format after the retirement of experienced players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma for India.
