Royal Challengers Bangalore Script IPL History, become the first team …

Royal Challengers Bangalore won the dramatic victory against Delhi Capital in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match on Sunday. In RCB quick succession, Devdutt Padikkal and captain Rajat Patidar were seen at the distressed place after losing. However, Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya then pressed the 119 -run stand for the 4th wicket to help the RCB chase the target of 163 runs against DC. In doing so, RCB won its 6th consecutive win in the 18th edition of the T20 League, which became the first team in the history of the league to do so.

RCB has some issues at home in this campaign, winning only one of the four matches, but on the road, the franchise has been absolutely unbeatable. RCB’s 6th on the 6-verse victory against DC was the 6th of RCB, resulting in the top of the points table.

For the match, 73 unbeaten 73 of Krunal helped RCB go over Gujarat Titans at the summit by defeating Delhi Capital by six wickets.

Chasing 163 for victory, Bangalore slipped 26–3 before Virat Kohli and Pandya, with a fourth wicket partnership of 119.

Tim David dismissed five delivery to secure winning with nine balls at Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla Ground.

Kohli said about the match Pandya’s player, “He (Pandya) can create that effect and we were just waiting for the tournament with the bat,” about the Player of the Match Pandya, who also took 1-28 with his left hand spin.

“And today his day was completely and he was excellent.”

Kohli compiled a measured 51, while Pandya hit five fours and four sixes in an innings, taking the game away from Delhi.

Since the establishment of the league in 2008, he and Kohli won the sixth consecutive win of Bengaluru as the discovery of their first IPL title.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and fellow pace bowler Josh Hazlewood shared five wickets between them to limit Delhi to 162-8.

In Chase, Delhi captain Exer Patel opened bowling with his left -arm spin and hit two early blows to send England’s IPL debutant Jacob Bethel out for 12, and Devdutt Padikkal for a duck, for two balls.

Bangalore captain Rajat Patidar was run out for six, but Kohli and Pandya sometimes put Delhi under pressure with mixed borders with rapid walking between wickets.

Once set, Pandya removed his power and reached his fifty off 38 balls four to four of Exer.

Kohli completed his sixth half century of the season as he provoked the batter Suryakumar Yadav (427) of Mumbai as a leading run-scorer with 443.

He finally fell to Sri Lankan fast bowler Dushmanth Chamera before Pandya and Australian International David took the team into line.
