Punjab Kings get a big boost before starting IPL 2025: Star Overseas Duo set to return before this stability

The Australian pair of seam-bouling all-rounder Marcus Stoinis and wicketkeeper-son Josh Iglis are expected to join the Punjab Kings (PBK) for their IPL 2025 match against Delhi Capital (DC) on May 24 in Jaipur, stated by sources on Thursday. IANS further understands that so far, Marco Jansen, Xavier Bartlet, Azmatullah Omrajai, and Mitchell Owen have confirmed PBK that they will play the remaining part of IPL 2025 starting on May 17.
“Jensen, Bartlett, Omarjai and Owen are likely to attend the PBKS camp in Jaipur by tomorrow. For Stoinis and Illis, they will probably join the second game since the second game, which is against DC.
Both Inglis and Jansen are named in the squads of Australia and South Africa respectively, for the World Test Championship (WTC) final, began at Lord’s from 11 June. It is not yet known how long the pair will be available for PBKS in IPL 2025, which now ends on June 3.
The IPL 2025 was suspended on 9 May, a day later, the PBKS-Dc Clash at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala was closed as a precautionary measure after 10.1 overs of the first innings, especially in the nearby places such as Jammu, Udhampur and Pathkot with air and drone strikes.

According to the revised schedule, PBKS will play the remaining three IPL 2025 leagues against Rajasthan Royals (RR), DC and Mumbai Indians (MI) on 18 May, 24 and 26 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on May 18, 24 and 26 respectively. PBK, led by Sris Iyer, is third on the points table with 15 points out of 11 sports.
