Gujarat’s Titans captain Shubman Gill admitted that he felt very good against the Lucknow super veterans by giving some extra runs and the team would try to get back the speed after the loss of 33 runs at home on Thursday. GT bowlers conceded a lot of runs as LSG scored a huge 235/2 with his Australian opener Michel Marsh and made a statement despite being out of the playoff race, scoring his first IPL century – 117 off 64 balls.

The Player of the Match Marsh, who finally hit his first IPL century after playing in the tournament since 2010, said LSG had no great season, but he could bow to a high.
“I really played for Deccan Chargers for the first time, it has been a long journey. Happy to contribute tonight. The opportunity to open, (Aiden) partnership with Markram has helped me.
He said, “We did not have the best season, but the last two games are still important. I thought they have bowled well these days. If you have scored 12 runs and it is not a good time, it is a panic station. But today it is shown that you can bat through a big partnership.”
