During the match between the two teams in IPL 2025 on Saturday, a picture of the two teams attracted the attention of fans to shoulder to shoulder and a social media user also suggested that they should act together in a Bollywood film. “Somebody can already cast @FAF1307 and @Realityzinta in a film. He has got action-hell vibe. He is growing age like a good wine. Put them in a sports drama or a royal romance-don’t waste this scene perfection!” The fan posted.

Du Plessis responded to the suggestion that in a tricky way: “Make It Hap”.

After taking a loss of six wickets to the Punjab Kings (PBK) to Delhi Capital (DC) in Jaipur, Skipar Shreyas Iyer admitted that despite putting a strong total on the board, the team decreased in execution with the ball. Delhi, already out of playoff controversy, chased a target of 207 runs in 19.3 overs.

Speaking after the match, Iyer said, “207 was a great score on this wicket. There was some variable bounce and it was not coming at the same pace. We were not disciplined enough with the ball,” as was quoted by ESPNcricinfo.

Despite well assessing the pitch position, Iyer felt distracted by his bowlers from the original plan.

“We assessed the wicket and decided to bowl hard length in stumps, but we were trying to take wickets with bouncers,” he said, suggesting that the aggressive approach became a backfire on a surface, which required more control.

Punjab has already secured a place in the playoffs. A top-two finish is not guaranteed for Punjab. PBK will not only require a win, but will also have favorable results from other fixtures.

Iyer said, “Every team is equally ready in this tournament, you remain positive and calm. We will return with a strong set of plans,” Iyer said, the team is convinced of the team’s ability to bounce back.

Punjab will now look back quickly and end the league stage at a high, which will expect to secure all the important top-two spaces that guarantees a second opportunity in the playoffs.

In the match, Sameer Rizvi defeated Punjab Kings in 19.3 overs at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday, chasing the challenging target of 207, scoring 58 runs scoring an unbeaten 58 off just 25 balls. Rizvi’s explosive innings, which featured three borders and four sixes, helped seal a dramatic six-wicket win for the capitals.
