Dallas Cowboy acquired a comprehensive receiver George Pickence from Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday in exchange for draft compensation.

Going to Dallas with Picance is the sixth round pick in the 2026 NFL draft, while the steeler will get a third round selection in 2026 and the fifth round pick in 2027.

Cowboys were demanding another top wideout to pair with a four -time pro boule selection Ceedee Lamb, who had 66 more targets in the previous season as compared to the team’s next closest member (Tight and Jake Ferguson). Lamb took the club to a catch (101) and received the yard (1,194) to go with six touchdowns.

The step comes six months after Dallas has taken this step for the fourth round selection in the same draft for the seventh round pick of the 2025 NFL draft from the comprehensive receiver Jonathan Mingo and Carolina Panthers.

In turn, the steelers acquired a comprehensive receiver DK Metkaf from Seattle Sehox on 9 March. The two -time Pro Bowl selection signed a four -year, $ 132 million deal with Pittsburgh.

Steellers are still waiting for a reply from free-agent quarterback Aaron Rhoders whether he will sign with Pittsburgh.

The 24 -year -old Pickens caught 59 for 900 yards with three touchdowns in 14 matches last season. He has a season left on his crook contract and slated to become a free agent in the next March.

Pickens recently appeared to remove themselves from the steelers, especially unfollowed the team on social media.

Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin told Pickens reporters in January that “of course, obviously there is more space for development.”

There is a 174 reception of Pickens for 2,841 yards with 12 scores in 48 career games since the second round of 2022 NFL drafts.
