Powerhouse Football Program Claimson and Notre Dame agreed for the 12-game, home-and-home series starting in 2027.
Schools were already prescribed in schools in 2027, 2031 and 2037 in Claimson, SC, with competitions in South Bend, Industries.
PT Bevakwa, director of the Notre Dame Athletic, said on Tuesday, “We consistently try to create a football schedule that keeps us for success in the college football playoffs, and for that goal we need to create such a historic partnership with Clameson.” “This rivalry has already produced some of the most memorable moments in recent college football history, and our fans are worth these matches that continue those indelible memories.”
Both teams have met eight times in the past, in which the tigers have won five of them. In his most recent game, Claymson defeated the 12th ranked notre Dame in 2023, 31–23, home.
In schools facing Notre Dame at least twice, Claimson is one of just six events with a winning record against Fighting Irish.
Either Claimson or Notre Dame is ranked in the top 15 from each of the previous eight meetings. Both tops are at the top 15 times, and both were in the top five three times.
“We have immense enthusiasm for the construction of this 12-year series between these two major programs, as we know that these Memorial Stadium and Notre Dame Stadium as well as the matchup for fans for television audiences should watchup,” said the athletic director of Gram Nef, Cla with the Athletic Director.
A series of a dozen or more games are rare.
Claimson has three opponents, playing at least 12 years, which are recently Georgia (1973–87). Notre Dame played Michigan in 18 consecutive sessions from 2002-19.
The genealogy of each program is undisputed.
The Fighting Irish lost to the Ohio State in the CFP title game at the conclusion of the 2024 season, but won the 11 National Championships and has a 962 total win, college is fourth in football history.
Claymson has three national titles and is the 13th all-time with 808 wins.
