Dijan Joveljik recorded a brace to lead the Sporting Cances City to win a 3–1 on hosts Houston Dynamo on Saturday night.
This was the second two goal match of the season for Joveljik, with nine goals with Sporting Cancas City in the first season, after being acquired from Los Angeles Galaxy to Offsen.
Santiago Munose added a goal and John Pulskamp made eight savings for Sporting Casey (4-8-4, 16 points), which stopped the four-match winning stretch (0–1-3).
Sebastian Cowski scored for Dynamo (5-7–5, 20 points), who saw the MLS of his four-match unbeaten line (3–0-1).
Jonathan Bond had three savings for Dynamo.
Houston’s shots had a 22–12 lead, which kept KC’s six on the target for sports.
Sporting Cancas City was stuck early before counting the match in the third minute of the first half stops time.
A ball was kicked in the box, ended near Joveljik and kicked a left -leg roller in the left corner of the net.
Joveljic was again at a time when Sporting Casey kicks a corner in the 52nd minute.
Zorhan Basong took the corner kick and sent the ball to the box. Jansen Miller jumped and led the ball, which went away from the crossbar. Jovelsic was in position for rebound and followed a right-foot in the net for a 2–1 lead.
In the 64th minute, Houston’s Jack McGlin flew with a left leg explosion that Pulskamp closed.
Munose removed the match when he got a pass from Daniel Sali and sent a shot in the net in the 88th minute.
Houston hit in the 13th minute, as Ondrayez Lingar put in a Dribbling Clinic. He appeared Hemmeded in the left corner and somehow maneuvering his way to get out of trouble and sent Cowski to a small pass.
Kowalczyk was stationed on the edge of the box on the left and fired a tablet in the upper right corner to give dynamo a 1-0 lead and fired a tablet.
Joveljik had a good opportunity in the second minute of the second half, but his right-leg was stopped by Bond. Jovelsic and Bond are former team companions with Galaxy.
