Moonton Games Celebrates Magic Chess: Go Global Launch

MOONTON Games today announced that Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG) will celebrate its Global Launch on 28 May 2025. They will bring the free-to-play multiplayer strategy game to players around the world. The Global Launch will go live simultaneously with the start of Season 2 for select regions that gained access during the APAC Grand Launch on 21 February 2025. MCGG has quickly gained momentum since, surpassing 20 million pre-registrations to become one of the year’s most popular mobile titles. 

Magic Chess: Go Go Global Launch

MCGG is created by the original team from MOONTON Games’ star game, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). Set in MLBB’s beloved universe, MCGG transforms players into master strategists, commanding familiar MLBB Heroes to create their ultimate forces. Each Chessboard will see eight players simultaneously engage in Player versus Player (PvP) combat. Each player will compete individually, testing their real-time decision-making and strategies through multiple rounds to become the last strategist standing.

Staged New season, new Synergy, new system!

Season 2: Blessings of Amberms, makes the core mechanics of season 1, but with a twist! The new season will focus on the conflict between the gods and the demons, new sympathy, powerful fighter buffs and the system.

Six new coordination will start in this season, bringing Grand Total in 10. Synergy is unique buffes that are active when the heroes of the same group are active. The power of each group is unique and capable of changing chess in a moment.

The new season will also introduce a new blessing mechanic. Players who have the same hero at the same level can trigger a blessing, which will add an additional coordination or role to their teams. Players can activate a complete 10 synergy to unlock ultra synariety and promote their lineup extensively -with the same faction -blessings and six different heroes through the blessings and magic crystal bonuses.

The new blessing will return to McGG in Mechanic Season 2!
