Astro DH Yordon Alverez hand dealt with fracture in hand

Houston Astros named Yordon Alvarez has a “very small fracture” in his right hand that is 60 percent heal, General Manager Dana Brown announced on Saturday.
Brown said the fracture was not discovered in early imaging on 6 May because there was too much swelling and fluid.
Brown said, “Now the immediate plan for him is just to let it rest.” “And he will still continue to do other baseball activity like running, he may probably go out in the outfield and catch. He can do everything else except taking a bat. And therefore, we do not even want him to hit the tiz, even if he feels very good to hit a tea. Just let it be completely recover and then you will come back.”
Alwarz is retrospective in the injured list till 3 May.
Alvarez, who was earlier on the injured list for swelling of the right hand in July 2022, has left for a slow start this season. He is batting. Three domestic runs in 29 sports and 210 with 18 RBI.
The 27-year has a career batting average of .295 with 167 domestic runs and 484 RBI in 658 games with all Astro. In the last season, he was an all-star selection for the third consecutive year and topped the 30 homers for the fourth straight season.
Also on Saturday, Astro placed the outfielder Chas McCormic with a left diagonal tension in the 10-day injured list and recalled the Infielder Shay Whitcomb from Triple-A Chinese land.
The move is retrospective on Friday for McCormic, batting with two RBI in 36 matches this season.
The 30 -year -old McCormic is a career. 2550 hitters with 55 homers and 193 RBI in 472 Career Games with Astro.
Whitcom, 26, batting. 275 with a Pacific Coast League 18 Homer and 38 with RBI in 53 matches with space cowboy this season.
He batted with five RBI in 20 matches with Astro in the previous season.
