“IPL Trophy with RCB, 5 levels under Test cricket”

Virat Kohli retired from Test cricket as India’s 4th highest scorer in the format last month.
Even after his retirement from the format, Virat Kohli remains the biggest ambassador of Test cricket. He can praise more in white ball cricket, but the white jersey will always be closest to his heart.
Virat Kohli lives and breathes Test cricket
After retiring from the longest format of the game last month, he still appreciated Test cricket as a cricketing peak, and that too after fulfilling his dream of winning an Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
Eventually the cup woke up, Kohli fell to the ground with tears in his eyes. He could not control his feelings, waiting for this moment for 18 years. But when the time came to talk about all this, Kohli talked as much about Test cricket as he did about winning the IPL trophy for RCB.
“You know, this moment is fine with the best moments of me in my career. But it still marks five levels under Test cricket. How much I give importance to Test cricket. And how much I love Test cricket. So I will just urge the youth who come with that format,” to treat that format with respect only, “ Kohli said after winning the IPL 2025 trophy.
Kohli always talked. Apart from an injury or personal cause, he never missed a Test match. Under that, India became the best that they have ever been in the format. A four-humid-speed attack developed under him and won 5 Test matches. Kohli still thinks that you can win the IPL or World Cup, but it will be praise in Test cricket that will eventually earn you respect.
“Because if you perform in Test cricket, you roam anywhere in the world, people look in your eyes, shake your hand, and say, do well, you have really played the game well. So if you want to earn respect in the world’s cricket, take Test cricket, and when you go out with folding, you attach yourself. He said.
