Accessful ‘Hurricane’ vs. Phillies Ae’s face hard task

Athletics manager Mark Cottage said that his team is in the middle of a “right storm” how things can be wrong at once.
In a nine-game losing streak, athletics has a difficult task to stop its slide on Friday night when they open three-games against the National League-Agni Filadelphia Philos in West Sacramento, California.
Phillies won the seventh consecutive win on Thursday afternoon with a 2–0 decision on Colorado Rockies in Danver.
To maintain good time, Philadelphia will send a just right-hand zack wheeller (5–1, 2.67 ERA) on the mound on Friday night.
The wheeler is 2–1 with 6.67 ERA against athletics. His last start against him on 18 June 2023, when he scattered six hits in six scorer innings to take a win.
“We have brought some different people to try in non-active roles, and we have not been able to organize the game,” Kotts said on Thursday after losing Los Angeles Angels 10–5. “It is like a story in the last two weeks and perhaps longer.
“Is there a quick fix? I would like to tell you. We will continue to work. We can all do this. We can do all this. Fix those issues and allow people to go through it and get better by cleaning our execution.”
Initially things looked good for athletics, which led 5–2 after six innings on Thursday. Starter Louis Severino gave two runs on seven hits, one batsman did not go and hit five.
Reliever Grant Holman struggled in the seventh innings, however. He loaded the locations and allowed a single homer for Logan O’Hope along with the Grand Slam of Taylor Ward.
“You reach the point in the game where you are going to try to use Mason Miller for two innings, but we could not just reach there,” said cotted.
Brent Rooker hit a two-fur house and a double during his 3-for-4 performance for athletics.
His starter is yet to be announced on Friday.
On Thursday, Starter Ranger Suarez allowed six hits in the 6 2/3 scorer innings for Philadelphia, including three walks and six strikes.
“I liked it,” Suarez said through a team interpreter, according to Philadelphia Inquiarer. “Especially in this atmosphere, in this type of stadium, where your pitches cannot do that they usually agitate, but the cutter was working well.”
Suarez left with two runners aboard the bottom of the seventh, before Orion Kaksing inspired Hunter Goodman to pop out to eliminate Inning. Matt Stharum did the eighth work, and Jordan Romano worked in ninth place for his sixth sev of the season.
In its last nine demonstrations, Romano has allowed three hits and has been killed in more than nine scorer innings.
“The day we did not necessarily score many runs, we really picked and protected well,” said Rob Thomson, the manager of the Philos. “It was very satisfactory.”
Bryus Harper is during the team winning four couples, one domestic run with 14-for-28 and seven-marks of the team with nine RBI. He had an RBI double on Thursday, and Max Capler had another couple for Philadelphia.
“They work on it every day,” Thomson said. “We have made some adjustments, and I think they will continue to do it. … A pair of hits on time with Capler and Veena. So Harp looks good in the plate.”
