After 27/10 was recorded in Jamaica, hold the list of the top five lowest score by a team in Test cricket history.
Test cricket has witnessed many batting collapses over the years, but what unfolded at Sabina Park in Kingston during the third Test between West Indies and Australia was truly historic. The West Indies were bowled out for just 27 runs, their lowest-ever Test total and the second-lowest in the history of the game.

WI vs AUS: What happened in Kingston?
Playing their 100th Test match, Australia’s Mitchell Starc made the occasion unforgettable. He picked up 6 wickets for just 9 runs, becoming the first player to take a five-wicket haul in just 15 balls, the fastest in Test history. Starc also crossed the 400-wicket milestone, a feat achieved by only three Australians previously.
Starc struck with the first ball of the innings, and by the time his third over ended, the West Indies were reeling at 7 for 5. Things got worse when Scott Boland, at the other end, produced a sensational hat-trick, only the 10th in Australia’s Test history, to wipe out the tail. Boland dismissed Justin Greaves, Shamar Joseph, and Jomel Warrican in three deliveries, finishing with 3 for 2 in just two overs.
At 27 all out in 14.3 overs, the West Indies narrowly avoided breaking New Zealand’s long-standing record of 26. A dropped catch and a misfield helped them limp past, but it didn’t change the embarrassment. The innings saw seven ducks and only three boundaries. The top six West Indies batters managed just six runs combined.
