Reverse after sweep, citizens to take revenge on the brave

When Atlanta Braves opened a three-game chain at Washington National on Tuesday, the right-handed Spencer will be on the Storer mound.

Strender (0–1, 3.60 ERA) was activated from the 15-day injured list on Monday. He made his only start of the season on 16 April and conceded two runs in five innings against Toronto Blue Jais. Five days later, they were placed in the injured list with a perfect hamstring stress.

Sturdear only did his work back with elbow surgery, which limited him to two beginnings in 2024 – on 5 April.

Citizens will compete with the left-handed Michelle Parker (3-3, 4.32 ERA). When its last four start, Parker is 0–2 with 9.68 ERA. He went 13 and hit more than 12 in 17 2/3 innings and completed five innings once in that stretch.

On Wednesday, Parker gave four runs on four hits in 4 2/3 innings of No-Polic against Braves. He was removed after returning from his left knee.

Three career begins against Braves, Parker is 1-0 with 4.50 ERA.

Washington opened a six-game homestand on a three-game winning line after sweeping Baltimore Oraols over the weekend. This success came in Atlanta after losing three out of four and three out of eight out of the last nine.
