Shreyas Iyer set for Royal Snow in India’s squad for England Tour? “BCCI is not selector …”: Report

Shreyas Iyer has been one of the most consistent artists in IPL 2025. In India’s 2025 Champions Trophy win, Shreyas Iyer was the top scorer for the team with a run tally by 243. The BCCI selection meeting will be held after a press conference on Saturday. The Indian cricket team is set to visit England in 2025 in 2025-2027 ICC World Test Championship in 2025.
The series will be held from June to August 2025, which will have matches at Headingley (Leeds), Edgbaston (Birmingham), Lords (London), Old Trafford (Manchester), and Oval (London).
This will be India’s first bilateral series as both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli announced retirement from Test cricket earlier this month.
Prior to the series, there will also be three India ‘A’ matches against England Lions, the first of which will be held on May 30 at the Centralrance Ground in Cantorbury.
Abhimanyu Ezavaran will lead India in matches in which wicketkeeper/batter Dhruv Juraral appointed Vice Captain. Shubman Gill and Sai Reformson will join ‘A’ squad before the second match.
Rohit ended his 11 -year -long test career on 7 May after representing the country in 67 tests. It left India with a large -scale leadership hole before the tour of England starting in June, which would kickstart his ICC World Test Championship campaign.
Rohit made his Test debut against the West Indies in November 2013 and represented India in the 67 Tests. He scored an average of 4,301 runs in 40.57 with 12 centuries and 18 fifties.
Virat Kohli also announced his retirement from the tests earlier this month, ending a magnificent career of 14 years and 123 tests.
