The man of the supreme team is now Shreyas Iyer. No matter the situation, Shreyas Iyer has previously raised his hands, for example the Punjab kings led. After two disappointing red-ball outings in the Dalip Trophy and Iranian Cup, Iyer scored 345 runs in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, 345 runs in 8 innings. He continued the form with 325 runs in just five innings in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
There was a big examination for him, but Shreyas Iyer did not disappoint. He scored 480 runs in 7 innings on an average of 68.57. He even hit a century and a dual century for Mumbai.
Iyer participated in the ODI series against England ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy. In three matches, Iyer scored 181 runs at an average of 60.33 on an average. In the Champions Trophy, Iyer fully played his role, scoring an average of 48.60 runs in five innings.

But as Punjab Kings offered him a large scale to offer Rs 26.75 crore, he paid every money. PBK is just one win from qualifying for IPL playoffs for the first time since 2014. He has also led from the front. Iyer did not care about his centuries or half -centuries. He put the team first, every time he batted this season.
In 12 innings, Iyer has scored 435 runs at an average of 48.33 and a huge strike rate of 174.70. The top 10 of the Orange Cap Race has Iyer’s best strike rate among Indian batsmen. He is currently behind Nicholas Gorn in terms of strike rate. He is now 84 runs away from his best IPL season.
Iyer’s form and his banging knock have made PBK one of the favorite to win the title. Now that he has completed his tests, will BCCI respect his commitment and will reward him with remembrance in the India Test Squad for the England series?
