Atlanta’s AJ Smith-Shever is coming out of the best performance of a career as he prepares to oppose Andrew Honey of Pittsburgh, when Braves take to host pirates on Saturday afternoon.
Smith-shower ((2-2, 3.00 ERA) made a no-hitter in the eighth innings and made only one hit in eight innings, while exiting five and issued four walks against Cincinnati Reds in a 4–0 win on Monday.
An eighth-inning single by the Reds Santiago Aspinal ended his dialect to record Braves No-Hitter before Kent Merker on 8 April 1994.
