Shorthand stars prepare against new AVS for game 1

The Stanley Cup playoff has not started yet and the Dallas stars have already suffered heavy losses.
On Saturday, on the eve of hosting the colorado avalanche for sports 1 of the first series of the best Western Conference, Stars Coach Peat Debor announced that the top goals would be out of action on a week-to-week base after a week-long body injury in the regular-season finale.
“The next man up. This is the time of the year,” said Debor. “We are not going to be the only team starting without anyone or losing someone at some point. This is the playoff. You just have to keep moving forward.”
Robertson’s injury is a hard setback for a Dallas squad, which also dismissed the top defenseman Miro Hisken (knee) on Saturday morning. The stars finished second in the Central Division, four points ahead of Colorado, but stretched and won in their last seven matches (0–5-2).
Somehow, they have to find a way to change their luck against the Colorado squad that gained momentum from mid -February.
“We are going to,” further Tyler Segin said, who returned to the closing after the need for hip surgery in December. “We have seen that the teams have done this and we are going to do it.”
Dallas defeated Colorado in six matches in the second round last season.
Adding an additional layer to the series is Mikko Rantanan, which Colorado traded for the Carolina storm in January when he and the team could not come on conditions on a contract expansion. Just before the trading deadline, Renton was flipped into Dallas and signed an eight -year deal.
“I have a lot of friends with snow from that team, but I think when the whistle goes to the snow for the game 1, I think it’s a business and we try to defeat each other,” Rantan said. “Business is how I will see it. Everyone wants to win.”
The avalanche left its roster behind throughout the season. At the top of the Ranon Deal, which brought Martin Nekus and Jack Draury forward in the fold, the avalanche swept off the goals in her current leading head of McKenzie Blackwood and Scott Vejwood, and the Defenseman Eric Johnson and Ryan Lindgrane and Ryan Lindgrane and Waiting Forer and Veteran Forerd Charlie and Broke.
“It was not by design,” said General Manager Chris McFarland. “We were not sitting there in October,” you know, we are going to change the goal, “or anything like that. I think it is one of the years where things just fell into the track like that.”
In addition, Captain Gabriel Landskog is due to returning after recalling about three full sessions due to knee surgery. Landeskog, who last played in NHL, when the avalanche won the Stanley Cup in 2022, to skate in a pair of AHL Games.
“This is exciting for us, as it can give us another option here,” said coach Jredday Bednar. “Another player of your caliber is probably preparing to go to go is only one positive from my mind.”
And now the avalanche should try to win a cup without ranton, which is one of the top scorers of the franchise since transferred from Quebec City and was an important part of his championship three years ago.
“I am really, really focusing on this team,” said Nathan Macinon further. “I have played against friends first. This is what it is.”
