Lions-chargers to kick presence in hall of fame games

Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Chargers will meet on 31 July in the 2025 Hall of Fame Games in Canton, Ohio, from July 31, which will be as part of the Enshrinment Week.
Antonio Gates, who spent his entire career as a tight end with Chargers (2003–2018), is one of the Eneshrine for the 2025 square.
The game will be played at Tom Banson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton and will be television by NBC Sports. Lions will work as home teams.
Jim Porter, president and CEO of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, said, “The game features two teams, which can be considered a valid contender to reach Super Bowl LX in next February.” “To face each other outside the gate in Canton, Ohio for them, one should make a dynamic opening for another magnificent NFL season.”
This will be the fourth appearance in the exhibition game for Lions and the third for the chargers, but the first for both after 1994.
Gates is expected to join the game by 2025 members Eric Elon, Jreddo Alan and Sterling Sharp’s fellow class.
